The Saugatuck Yacht Club is a family-oriented sailing, boating and social club serving the permanent and summer residents of Saugatuck, Douglas, Fennville and surrounding communities in Western Michigan. The clubhouse is located on the shores of Lake Kalamazoo, a bulge in the Kalamazoo River leading out to Lake Michigan.
The Club supports an active small boat sailing program including races twice a week (Wednesdays and Saturdays) for Optis, Sunfish and Laser sailboats and a certified sailing school (Monday through Friday) during the summer.
SYC also offers:

• social calendar full of parties, barbeques and other get-togethers all summer long
• fascinating speaker program in the winter.
• tennis court for its members
• kayaks and several Club sailboats for use by qualified members.
• Permanent docks are maintained by the Club and available for rent by members for their sail and power boats.
