First Annual
"Burn Your Socks" Party
and Fish Boil
The culinary skills of the two master fish boilers was put to a test at the first annual Sock Burning and Fish boil. John and Bob scrupulously followed the recipe until thier martinis made them too smart for that.

Surprisingly, all agreed that the fish boil dinner was excellent!
Dinner was served as Kathy Kubasiak made an emergency pot of coffee for the fish boilers who, it was thought, were way too full of themselves after the great success of the fish.
After dinner, Bob perched himself on top of a table to make a "speech" to our satiated fish-eating members.
As the fire burned and Bob's inspiring speech went on and on (and on)... the assembled and anxious sock-burners wondered if the fire would hold out for the requisite sock-burning.
Finally, Bob' speech ringing in ears of the assembled sock-burners, Bob removed his own socks (as the crowd backed away), and tossed them ceremoniously into the fire.
One by one, sock by sock, the sock-burners approached the fire and dedicated their socks to something special. Here Demetri Criezis burns his socks to the relief of all present.
Dazed and confused, Dave Anderson asks the assembled sock -burners what is going on? He thought it was some kind of sock sale, and he was looking to enrich his sock drawer at this event.
